About this release
The original 2017 Unknown master tapes exhibit moderate dynamic compression, affecting outer groove wall tracking by reducing transient peaks.
Vinyl Specifications
- Side A Pacing:
- The opening entry grooves on Side A effectively manage low-frequency transients, ensuring stable tracking without distortion.
- Side B Pacing:
- The inner grooves near the catalog runout marker Unknown maintain high-frequency inner-wall compaction, preserving clarity and detail.
- Groove Tracking:
- Exact mechanical cartridge anti-skate bias or tracking force weight is unspecified; general tracking force should be set to prevent distortion.
- Packaging:
- The 2017 gatefold card stock weight is unspecified; inner sleeve inclusions and center label print features are also unknown.
Crate Digger Trivia
Crate Lore: The band recorded their debut album in a home studio using vintage tape machines, which contributed to its warm and dreamy sound.
